Partnering with Institutions allows us to stay longer and create a free downloadable field guide of the local pollinators customized for that region. We collect images of local pollinators and work with scientist to share the most important information out to the local community. These guides are family friendly, provide an easy way to turn any backyard into a citizen science laboratory and provide easy actions any one can do to help. This element of our practice allows the project to have an impact well after the artists have moved on.

Grant Aided
The Greening the Bay residency which supported the creation of the first field guide was supported by a $10,000 grant to St. Norbert College from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). Chairman Jane Chu says, “The NEA is committed to advancing learning, fueling creativity, and celebrating the arts in cities and towns across the United States. Funding these new projects, like the one from St. Norbert College, represents an investment in both local communities and our nation’s creative vitality.”
